Who can rent with Easy Renter?
Here at Easy Renter, our aim is to take the stress out of rental, making the process as smooth as possible so that you can focus on enjoying your ride. We also want to make it as accessible as possible to as many bikers as possible.
Here is a summary of our policies regarding the minimum age required, driving licenses, and more.
Minimum age
Drivers must be at least 25 years old at the time of their rental to book a motorcycle on Easy Renter. Please note that this minimum age may be increased in specific cases, at the discretion of the motorcycle owner or depending on the type of motorcycle.

Driving License
Proof of your driving license
To book a motorcycle with Easy Renter, you must have the driving license needed to drive the rented motorcycle. Depending on the motorbike you book, you will need an A1, A2, A, or B license with 7 hours of training.

2 years’ experience minimum
Your driving license needs to be 2 years old to rent a motorcycle with us.
💡 How old is my driving license?
- For European driving licenses, you can find the date you obtained your motorcycle driving license on the back of your license.
For example, if you rent a motorcycle that requires a category A2 driving license, you will need to have had the driving license for at least 2 years.
Foreigners and people from outside Europe
Road-tripping through France with a motorcycle is one of the best ways to discover our landscape and our culture.
- As a foreigner, here is a couple of things you need to know before booking a motorcycle on Easy Renter :
- Accepted driving license in France - Your driving license must be valid in France. It must allow you to drive a rented motorcycle in France.
- Translated driving license - Your driving license needs to be in French or accompanied by a certified translation into French.
