Paying for your rental

After selecting your motorcycle and your rental dates, you will be asked to create an account and pay for your motorbike rental. Please note that payment will only be withdrawn from your account once the renter has confirmed the booking.

Below you will find answers to a few questions relating to payment:

When will I be charged from my bank account?

You will be charged for the amount of the booking as soon as the rental agency confirm the rental. While waiting for the confirmation, the rental payment is frozen on the bank account. Then, the payment will be withdrawn from your account when the rental agency confirms the booking. At this moment, you receive an email to inform you that the renter confirmed you rental.

What payment methods are accepted on Easy Renter?

Easy Renter accepts the most common online payment methods; credit cards, Visa and Mastercard.

How secure is payment?

Payments are secured using the 3D Secure system. This system is the most secure system there is, and is used for the authentication of transactions on Easy Renter. This ensures that the credit or debit card used to make the transaction is being used by its owner. Please note, this may not apply for non-European credit/debit cards.

How do I know if the transaction was successful?

There are different ways of letting you know that the rental request was sent successfully. First, you will be taken to a page just after payment summarising your booking. A confirmation email will also be sent to the email address you used to set up your account. Finally, the booking will be displayed on your account.

Can someone else rent a motorcycle for me?

Yes, other people can book a motorcycle for you. They can use their own credit/debit card and complete the transaction. They will have to specify in their Easy Renter account that they are not the rider of the motorcycle and provide the rider's information. What if the renter declines the rental?

If the renter declines your rental, the amount will automatically be released and your account will not be charged. You will also be sent an email and a text message (French phone numbers only) to inform you that the renter has declined your rental.
