Driving licence issued in the EU
Easy Renter accepts all driving licences issued within the European Union. Indeed, according to the European Union, driving licences issued within the EU are valid in all EU countries. This rule applies to motorcycle licences A, A2, and A1.
The driving licence requirement :
- Licence conditions are met - The driver needs to hold the necessary licence category to rent the motorcycle. To learn more about accepted categories, please read the following page
- The driving licence must be 2 years old or older
- The licence must be still valid during your rental - The driving licence must not have been suspended or expired.
Here is the list of countries falling into this category : Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, United Kingdom (licence issued before 2021), Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.

Driving licence issued outside the EU
Easy Renter also accepts driving licences issued outside the European Union. For more information on your ability to drive in France, we recommend that you consult the following page on the French website of ServicePublic.fr.
The driving licence requirement :
- Licence conditions are met - In the EU, we use three different motorcycle licence category : A, A2 and A1. Our rental conditions are aligned to these three categories. The driver needs to hold the necessary licence to rent the chosen motorcycle. The motorcycle driving licence need to be 2 years old or older. - Your licence must be valid during your rental
- The licence must be written or translated into French - Your driving licence must either be written in French or be accompanied by an official translation into French.
