What are the accepted documents?
At Easy Renter, we carry out checks to ensure that riders meet all our criteria and are able to ride the motorcycles or scooters they book in France and Europe.
Identity card, residence permit or passport
To confirm your identity as well as the information concerning the rider, we ask you to provide a copy of both sides of an identity card, a French residence permit, or both inside pages of your passport.
Here are some examples of accepted photos. Please note that all information must be readable: beware of camera blur and flash on documents.

⚠ Verification of original documents at the rental location
The original documents will be checked by the rental partner when you collect your motorcycle or scooter. Without the original identity document and driving licence, the rental partner will not be able to hand over the motorcycle or scooter. The booking will still be due and cannot be cancelled, as the rider is responsible for presenting these documents on the day of collection.
The driving licence
In order to rent with us, riders must hold the driving licence required for the motorcycle or scooter they have booked. This is why we ask for a copy of the rider's driving licence, front and back. For old foldable pink cardboard driving licences, we will also require a photo of the inside and outside of the document.

⚠ Reminder
As noted above, the original documents (identity and driving licence) will be checked by the rental partner on the day of collection. Without these documents, the motorcycle or scooter cannot be handed over and the booking will remain due.
Other accepted documents
In certain situations, we may ask you to upload additional documents to prove that you are able to ride the motorcycle or scooter you have booked.

7-hour training certificate for 125cc vehicles (for French driving licences)
This document is accepted for renting a 125cc vehicle. However, it must be accompanied by a valid category B driving licence so that our team can verify all the information. -
International Driving Permit
Depending on your driving licence type and country of issue, you may be required to provide a valid International Driving Permit, particularly if your licence is not in French. -
Insurance certificate for 125cc vehicles (for French driving licences)
We accept insurance certificates provided they cover a 125cc vehicle in your name between 01/01/2006 and 01/01/2011. -

With Easy Renter, you have the option of renting powerful motorcycles, and we sometimes need to check that you have the experience required to ride these types of motorcycles.
