What are the accepted documents
At Easy Renter we carry out checks to ensure that riders meet all our criteria and are able to ride the motorcycles they book in France and Europe.
Identity card or passport
In order to verify a rider’s information, we require a copy of their ID card, both front and back, or the 2 inside pages of their passport.
Here are some examples of accepted photos. Please note that all information must be readable: beware of camera blur and flash on documents.

The driving licence
In order to be able to rent with us, riders must be in possession of the necessary driving licence for riding the motorcycle they have booked. This is why we ask for a copy of the rider’s driving licence, front and back. For old foldable pink cardboard driving licences (EU driving licences), we will require a photo of the inside of the driving licence and the outside as well.

Other accepted documents
In certain situations, we may ask you to upload additional documents to prove that you are able to ride the motorcycle you have booked.
- Here are some additional documents that may be necessary:
- 7-hour training certificate for 125cc vehicles (for French driving licences) - This document is accepted for renting a 125cc vehicle. However, it must be accompanied by a valid B driving licence so that our team can verify all of the information.
- Insurance certificate for 125cc vehicles (for French driving licences) - We accept insurance certificates provided they cover a 125cc vehicle in your name between 01/01/2006 and 01/01/2011.
- B driving licence issued before 01/03/1980 to ride a 125cc vehicle (for French driving licences) - We accept this document as proof that you are able to ride a 125cc vehicle.
- Insurance statement - With Easy Renter you have the option of renting some rather powerful motorcycles, and we sometimes need to check that you have the experience needed for riding these types of motorcycles.
